A CARELESS driver who left a child fighting for their life has been banned from the roads.

Jade Munday, 25, of Morgans Vale, caused a three-car crash on the A338 between Charlton-All-Saints and Downton around 7.30am on July 26 last year.

Munday drove her Vauxhall Astra into a Ford Transit driving in the opposite direction, continued along the road then crashed into a Toyota Corolla.

Two children were sitting in the back of Munday's car when she crashed.

As previously reported, one of the passengers suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of Munday's poor driving while the other escaped with minor injuries.
