THE 2-Tone Tribute Tour featuring tributes to the Specials, Bad Manners and Madness comes to City Hall.

These iconic bands will be represented by London-based Special Kinda Madness, who perform as the Specials and Madness, and The Special Brew from Cardiff, who perform as Bad Manners.

Those of a certain age will remember the original 2-Tone Tour in 1979.

It happened just as 2-Tone took the British music charts by storm, and for a short but exciting period turned the country into a sea of black-and-white check.

The Specials were at the heart of this musical revolution. As a band that created a blend of musical genres, mixing punk and Jamaican ska and producing an energy not seen on stage before, The Specials led the way for other bands that joined the 2-Tone movement such as The Selecter, Madness, The Beat, and The Bodysnatchers.

The original 2-Tone Tour was headlined by the Specials, with Madness and The Selecter supporting.

So if you fancy dusting down your pork pie hat, donning your Fred Perry and loafers, you can look forward to three-and-a-half hours of live 2-Tone and ska music.

The show is on Saturday, November 5, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from cityhallsalisbury.co.uk or 01722 434434.
