COOKE JOHN EDWARD Passed away suddenly at home on 13th July 2016 aged 68 years. Beloved husband of Mary. Much loved dad and grandad. Will be greatly missed. Funeral service to be announced. John will be sorely missed by all, a truly great, kind, thoughtful man. If neighbours needed his help, he would give his time and advice. A family man who loved his wife and was proud of his children and grand-children. He was always busy, but not too busy to 'shoot the breeze'. I would hear him up Harnham slopes with his grand-children, or watching over them as they cycled along the pavement, always accompanied by laughter. The world is a bit emptier now, but he is free - God obviously needed a good handy-man for some DIY and interesting Projects.
