ROWDEN Douglas George Passed away peacefully at Salisbury District Hospital on Thursday 8th June 2017, aged 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Megan, will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service at Salisbury Crematorium on Thursday 6th July at 11.30am. Your story of your relative Diana Rowden,SOE operative (Croix De Guerre) and your terrible experiences post - Dunkirk will stay with me forever. What an inspiration you have been with your humility and dignity. A gentle man indeed.
I am just so sorry we never got to meet up since. May you rest in peace with your beloved Megan xxx
