Do you remember my infamous mistake? You know, when I reviewed my girlfriend's beloved Vauxhall Corsa. There were phrases such as 'handles like a drunk jelly fish', and 'closing my eyes in terror'. For some reason this didn't please my girlfriend.
However, I've now received my official pardon and the Corsa is gone. The new car is a Ford Focus – one of the finest family vehicles on the market. Girlfriend chose the second generation 1.6 LX, and wisely opted for tiptronic automatic transmission. The handling is exceptionally composed, it rides smoothly, and feels stronger than a British battleship.
There is just one problem. My girlfriend has vanished. She was last seen running towards the car mumbling about 'European road trips'. So, if you see a blonde in a silver Focus – please let me know.
