Well done Salisbury Hospital

I had to have a trip to Salisbury General Hospital about a week ago to have a foot x-ray done, my GP have given me a slip of paper and told me to ring a number and they would book it for me. I did this expecting to be told I would have a few weeks wait, what a surprise I got when this very nice gentleman told me they could see me that week and offered me several times.

I went to the hospital telling my boss that I would be gone most of the morning as the last time I had an x-ray I had waited for an hour and half before being seen, but not this time I got there 10 minutes early, was greeted by a very nice lady and asked to wait. I sat down and picked up a magazine before I could open it my name was called and I was taken through, my foot was x-rayed and I was out all within 15 minutes. I was back at work within the hour. My only issue was that I had put two hours parking on the car as I had parked at the old end of the hospital, but I would rather that than having to wait for hours. It was indeed an excellent service, maybe the changes are starting to pay off, we might well see a more productive system within the NHS. Well done Salisbury Hospital
