QinetiQ signs multi-million pound deal

DEFENCE technology company QinetiQ and the UK Ministry of Defence have signed a £998million five-year pricing agreement for test, evaluation and training support services.
QinetiQ, which has a base at Boscombe Down, is ten years through the 25-year Long Term Partnering Agreement (LTPA) contract, which is reviewed every five years.
The contract allows the MoD to test and evaluate systems such as aircraft and weapons, using QinetiQ as an independent expert, before they are released to the frontline.
