Business showcase in Amesbury
BUSINESSMEN and women in Amesbury can enjoy cake, curry and conversation at the Stonehenge Chamber of Trade annual showcase on September 19.
The chamber is holding the popular annual event at Antrobus House to show its support for local businesses.
The Business-2-Business showcase is now in its seventh year and always attracts a wide range of business sectors as well as community groups.
It gives firms an opportunity to network and make new contacts within the local area, as well as to advertise their services to other business owners.
This year, from 3pm to 7pm, there will be more than 30 exhibitors, a pop-up café provided by Shipseys Marquees, complimentary cuppas and curries from the Holiday Inn and sweet treats and cakes provided by Dazzle and Bake.
Jim Johnston, chairman of the Stonehenge Chamber, who will be opening the showcase with Chris Newnham from Animal Friends Insurance, said: “This is the seventh year for the showcase and it is now firmly established in the chamber’s calendar.
“People buy from people rather than a faceless business.
“This popular event facilitates successful connections in a relaxed environment, contributing strongly to the local economy.
“If you would like to meet local businesses, are thinking of starting your own business or use local businesses, why not pop down to Antrobus House?”
There is free parking and free entry for all visitors.
