A WEALTH management company based in Salisbury has won a leading industry award and broken the £15bn barrier for its funds under management.

Quilter Cheviot Investment Management, which has offices at the London Road Office Park has been named the best overall large firm at the Citywire Wealth Manager Investment Performance Awards.

The win follows the appointment of a new chief operating officer at the company, and comes as it reveals that its funds under management are now worth in excess of £15bn.

The company was praised for its consistent performance in a number of risk categories.

Head of the Salisbury office Paul Sexton, pictured above, said: “The award is industry recognition of the quality and consistency of our performance as a business and the manner in which we have brought two businesses together and continued to deliver outstanding service to our clients.”

The firm also recently announced the appointment of Matthieu Duncan to the new role of chief operating officer.

He joins the firm from Newton Investment Management,where he was head of business strategy.
