A SALISBURY carpenter has teamed up with a national company to offer affordable and energy-efficient solar installations throughout Salisbury.

Chris Mullen of CJM Carpentry Ltd has partnered national renewable technology designer and supplier Navitron to provide local homes and businesses with MCS-compliant solar photovoltaic and solar hot water systems, which can result in average annual savings of more than £300.

Tim Mayers, MCS manager at Navitron, said: “Under the Navitron umbrella, CJM will be able to offer MCScomplaint solar PV and solar hot water system installations, meaning homes and businesses that choose Chris will not only benefit from lower electricity and heating bills, but also receive Government payback through incentive schemes like the Feed-In Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive.”

Both schemes have been implemented to help the UK reach its target of 15 per cent of energy generated by renewable by 2020.

Navitron offers quality lowpriced renewable energy systaems, including evacuated tube solar collectors, solar photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, water turbines, back-up generators, woodstoves and heat pumps, as well as accessories and complete kits for DIY installation.
