THIS year’s South Wilts Business of the Year Awards 2014 was launched at Audi Salisbury on Thursday, and businesses have until April 11 to enter.
Held annually since 2000, the awards celebrate all that is good about businesses in the area and give firms the chance to shine and show others what they are made of.
The event is sponsored by many local businesses and business organisations, including the Journal, which is this year sponsoring the Retailer of the Year Award.
Editor and publisher Bill Browne said: “Salisbury is blessed with some excellent retail stores and outlets. It is one of the things that makes this city a first class place to live in or visit.
“We are delighted to be sponsoring this category in the awards once again and meeting many of the people behind these businesses.”
