SALISBURY’S top fashion gurus will be sharing style secrets at a free workshop on Tuesday.

Personal stylist Katrina Squires, who runs Code Image Consultancy at Fisherton Mill will be sharing her top tips at the style night, which aims to help women over 55 look and feel their best.

Guests will be shown the benefits of colour analysis, receive expert image advice and learn some styling tricks.

Ms Squires said: “So often we chose clothes because they look great on the hanger but they don’t actually help us to look our best. I encourage clients to pick pieces that are classic, age appropriate and which complement and enhance their individual colouring and style.”

She is joining forces with other local fashion experts and businesses to create The Style Collective, which will be offering tips and demonstrations on clothes, jewellery and accessories.

The Style Collective will include Madeleine Millinery, designer of bespoke hats and headpieces worn by Kate and Pippa Middleton and featured in Vogue; Hannah Rebdi Boutique; Sue Bastin; and Jewellery by Mallitta.

Salisbury Manor is hosting the event, with the home’s hair stylist and nail technician offering free treatments.

Home manager Claire Lousteau said: “Sometimes older women lack the confidence to dress how they really want to. This event is all about empowering women to have fun with clothes and colours and to learn the secrets of looking fabulous in our own skin.”

The event takes place from 5pm to 7.30pm. It is free to attend but places are limited.

To book a place, contact Salisbury Manor, Shapland Close, Wilton Road, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2 7EJ or call 01722 447100.
