SUSANNE Cooke, managing director of Paw Pals (UK) Ltd, has been chosen as a finalist for the 2014 EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) awards in the Woman Franchisor of the Year category.
With the help of her dog Moe, Mrs Cooke, above, runs the head office of her franchised dog walking and pet sitting business in Salisbury. She currently manages 16 franchisees around the UK, who offer a range of pet care services from dog walking and cat feeding to home sitting and rabbit boarding.
EWIF is a national organisation encouraging women in all aspects of franchising.
“I am so delighted at the news, I feel like I have already won,” said Mrs Cooke. “It will be great publicity for Paw Pals as well as the promotion of EWIF too. I can't wait to see what happens at the award ceremony.”
The awards ceremony will be held in London on Thursday, May 22.
