A NEW independent social work advisory service has been launched by a woman from Tisbury.
Janet Golder is a registered social worker with more than 20 years’ experience who specialises in advising on how to obtain attendance allowances such as disability living allowance, personal independence payments and NHS continuing health care funding benefits.
She said: “I am passionate about the rights and values of anyone who needs care and assistance.
“All too often I have met clients who are struggling to get the right kind of support. “After 20 years’ experience, I know exactly how to deliver appropriate care packages and how to access appropriate levels of funding.”
The service is designed help people cut through red tape without delay. Primarily a domiciliary service, people will be able to discuss their particular needs in the privacy of their own homes.
