Winner: Salisbury Arts Festival
One of the reasons the Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival was chosen as winner was the number of people it brought to the city.
The festival saw a huge variety of events including music and dance performances, lectures, walks, street theatre and family entertainment take place across the city between May 23 and June 7.
Festival director Toby Smith said: “I am delighted to win this award in my first year at the helm of the festival.
“I have a great team who are committed to creating a spectacular event for the city each year.
“Thanks to everyone for the acknowledgement.”
Mr Smith has already started on preparations for the next two festivals, fundraising and looking for business sponsors.
