Presented by: Bill Browne
Winner: R&L Bailey
Domestic appliance retailer R&L Bailey in Salisbury was recognised as a “marvellous place to visit with all its stock carefully laid out”.
The company sells and repairs all makes of domestic appliances and also has an in-store workshop that takes care of small appliance repairs.
Nigel McNally, who owns the business with his wife Robyn, said: “We were deeply honoured to receive the award; it wasn’t something we expected as there is such tight competition out there.
“For our whole team it’s an indication that all the hard effort going into our business in terms of what we’re trying to achieve – service and excellence in what we do – is being recognised.
“We are on the right path and this for us is the further indication that we need to continue doing what we are doing and building a successful business.”
The company moved into bigger premises next door to its former store in Fisherton Street earlier this year.
Last month televisions were added to the firm’s product range and it is a Panasonic retailer.
