AS summer sizzles so does Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce and to prove it they will be hosting a barbecue at the Red Lion Hotel, Salisbury, on August 6 from 6pm.
Organisers say it is the networking event of the year and one not to be missed.
The event is sponsored by Westover Nissan and, as well as a great chance to learn more about the future of the motor vehicle, attendees will be able to get up close to a Nissan Leaf, one of the company's electric vehicle range.
They will also learn why the Red Lion, Salisbury’s oldest hotel, is right up there with the times – having plug-in points for guests who have electric vehicles.
Sallyann Tanner, Westover's electric vehicle specialist, will be giving her view of how motor vehicles will continue to develop.
She will be accompanied by Chris Swain, who has been working with Renault and their electric vehicles.
Westover will also be offering a great raffle prize.
Plus there is an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast, courtesy of the Red Lion, to be won.
To make it as inclusive as possible, there is a charge of £15 per head to members and £20 to non-members.
Places are limited so do book as quickly as you can.
Tickets can be booked on the chamber website at salisburychamber.co.uk.
