PORTMORE Insurance has opened at an enterprise centre in Salisbury.
Simon Reeves owns the company, specialising in commercial insurance, at The Old Fire Station in Salt Lane. Although it is a completely new company, Portmore Insurance works through another broker based in Southampton.
Mr Reeves, who lives in Gillingham, opened his new business at the enterprise centre, which helps business start-ups.
He said he focuses on giving a personal touch.
He said: “If a company doesn’t know the name of the person at the brokers who looks after them then that person doesn’t know their business in return. Over the years I’ve focused on building those relationships.
“Most people know their solicitor’s name and I put myself in the same professional category.”
