WOMEN in business networking groups across Wiltshire are teaming up as part of the Enterprise Network.

The Enterprise Network, a business support initiative led by Wiltshire Council, is hosting a series of free networking events for businesswomen at four enterprise centres across the county.

Links have been forged between Wessex Chambers’ Ladies’ Lunches and I Am Woman and Women Mean Biz to host a joint listings calendar, which includes 17 events before Christmas.

Rachel Sweet from Wiltshire Business Support Service said: “This is a very exciting time for women already doing business in Swindon and Wiltshire, and those thinking about starting an enterprise.

“Women-only business networks work extremely well, offering a supportive and inspiring environment, with women sharing ideas and learning from each other.”

Philippa Constable, who launched Women Mean Biz in 2008, said: “Women Mean Biz is delighted to be working closely with the Enterprise Network and Wiltshire Business Support Service to help promote the range of networking opportunities out there for businesswomen in Swindon and Wiltshire. “We all have something different to offer and at Women Mean Biz, we help women in business build business relationships through authentic networking, provide professional and personal development and ultimately help them to boost their business growth and profits.”
