SALISBURY horsewoman Angela Gladding has received a cash boost of £200 after scooping the Protexin Equine Premium annual bursary.

Ms Gladding said she feels “very lucky” having been chosen among a record number of entries for the grant, which can be spent on anything equine.

“I am really excited to have been chosen. It’s a fantastic opportunity from a company that produces supplements with proven results,” she said.

Genevieve Lorenz, Director of Equine Premium, said: “We offer riders the chance to receive £200 cash that they can spend on whatever they would like to.

“What is so nice about dealing with the equestrian community is that you do not need to place restrictions on what they can spend the money on.

“Every year the riders chose to spend their bursary on either lessons, or competition entry fees – it’s incredibly refreshing.
