THE HR Dept Salisbury is celebrating its first birthday after a successful year helping provide support for small and medium sized businesses.
The company gives practical support including employment law advice and how to prevent problems.
In the first year of trading Jan Sargent, director of the Salisbury branch, has built up a varied client list and has already taken on her first employee.
She said: “I am thrilled to have achieved so much in such a short space of time.
“I love working with such a diverse group of clients to find practical and pragmatic HR solutions to help their businesses grow.
“Most small and medium sized businesses don’t need a full time HR presence, but do need support with dealing with HR issues that arise when employing either their first member of staff or their 100th.”
The HR Dept nationally has also recently been shortlisted for major industry recognition in the HR Consultancy of the Year category in the Personnel Today Awards 2014.
