MOORE Stephens entered a team into the charity Wheelie Works event.

It was organised with the intention of raising awareness of the issues faced by disabled people who use wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

The team, consisting of Andrew Coldwell, Robert Newman, Andy Williams and Robert Macdonald, pitted their driving skills against each other in various timed events.

Mr Coldwell, team captain, said: “The event certainly highlighted the difficulties involved for disabled people. “Whilst we were not the fastest business in Salisbury we all had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. “The organisers are planning for this to be an annual event and we hope to take part again next year.”

Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with Friends of Salisbury Shopmobility, encouraged local businesses to take part in the event, pointing out Wheelie Works is a good, light-hearted team builder.

Participants helped to raise cash by paying to take part.
