WELFARE rights charity Swan Advocacy is celebrating having supported 7,000 vulnerable members of the community since it was formed 15 years ago.

The charity provides free, independent advocacy support for adults in Wiltshire who experience age, illness and disability discrimination.

Swan’s chief executive Teresa Wells said “Our clients are at significant risk of social isolation, discrimination and inequality – we believe that everyone has the right to be heard, have choice and control and to be safe from violence and abuse.

“We have an exceptionally skilled and experienced team of advocates who have supported these 7,000 individuals to improve their quality of life.”
