A CAR dealership has supported the Chalke Valley Challenge for the sixth consecutive year.
Westover Group supplied a Nissan Juke to show 10k runners the way and an electric Nissan LEAF to follow at the back, making sure the last runner made it home safely.
The 10km and 3km routes both run through Broad Chalke and Bowerchalke.
The run attracts people of all ages and running abilities – from serious club runners to Sunday morning strollers who set off with dogs, pushchairs and toddlers.
Westover director Mike Boyd said: “We are delighted to have supported the Chalke Valley Challenge again.
“It’s a really well-organised event, thanks to a tremendous amount of effort on the part of Broad Chalke School’s supportive community – and it’s great to see so many children, their parents and grandparents all out enjoying the countryside together.”
The run raises around £2,000 for the school each year.
