A FORMER archaeologist, publisher and charity campaign organiser from Tisbury has launched a new magazine for lovers of travel, archaeology and art.

Timeless Travels is designed to fill the gap between more academic archaeological magazines and travel magazines.

Founder Dr Fiona Richards said: “Timeless Travels is, therefore, designed for those who want to read about unusual and captivating destinations from an archaeological, historical or art perspective.”

Dr Richards helped raise more than £3m for Help for Heroes through supermarket campaigns before joining its corporate team.

She previously spent more than 20 years working and travelling in the Middle East as an archaeologist, spent eight years as publishing director at the Mark Allen Group and was also a trustee of the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation.

“I had a eureka moment at Christmas last year, when I realised I could put together all my different work experiences to start my own magazine,” she said.
