MP Dr Andrew Murrison is backing Ludwell Village Stores in the tenth annual ‘Rural Oscars’ – aka the Countryside Alliance Awards.
The awards will offer a special Champion of Champions scheme in their tenth year, and Dr Murrison is urging the public to vote for the shop this month.
Ludwell Village Stores previously won a UK and Ireland title in the awards, making them eligible for the Champion of Champions scheme.
He said: “The Rural Oscars give a great platform to our rural businesses and communities and I am proud to support them.
“I am keen to see Ludwell Village Stores take the title and would ask that everyone in the constituency gets behind their bid and votes throughout November.”
Vote online at countryside allianceawards.org.uk until 6pm on November 30 or send postal to Countryside Alliance Awards, 367 Kennington Road, London, SE11 4PT.
