THROUGHOUT December Penton Motor Group is teaming up with The Trussell Trust to supply Christmas Hampers to the food bank with every car sold by Citroen and Vauxhall dealerships.
They will also be setting up a collection point within the service area to collect donations over the same time.
Mark Timbrell from Penton Motor Group said: “This came about after Louise Wratten, the manager of the Salisbury branch, gave a presentation on the work of The Trussell Trust to Salisbury City Council in the summer.
“As a City Councillor myself I was impressed by her work and decided to figure out a way to support the charity on a larger scale.
“As a family-run local business we are aware that everybody has to take some responsibility for their local community.”
