BUSINESSES and groups that provide activities for young people are invited to a networking event at the City Hall on December 16 from 1pm to 5pm.
The afternoon is aimed at giving providers a better understanding of the Local Youth Network and the role of the community youth officer.
There will be a chance to learn more about how organisations can be involved in delivering activities for young people aged 13 to 19, including how to access grants and engage in the procurement process.
Groups will have the opportunity to find out more about local priorities and how they can support them, and to help develop a strategy for engaging with young people.
There will be workshops on safeguarding, fundraising and consultation, and groups are welcome to bring a stand to show the activities they can offer young people.
