DORSET businesses attended the second annual Putting Crime out of Business Conference to discuss approaches to tackling crimes that affect them.
Hosted by the Office of the Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner and Wessex Federation of Small Businesses, the conference was opened by Police Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill and the Dorset Chief Constable Debbie Simpson.
The conference included a variety of speakers and workshops delivered by Dorset Police, Dorset Trading Standards and Bournemouth University Cybercrime Unit covering cybercrime, scams and shoplifting.
Mr Underhill said: “The event was a great success.
“It gave us an important opportunity to meet with businesses from across Dorset, listen to their concerns and work with them to develop solutions to some of the issues they face.”
Businesses could also take part in an online survey which closed on Tuesday.
