AN insurance company based in Amesbury has been named as the 14th fastest growing mid-sized enterprise by Investec.
Animal Friends – which is one of the largest suppliers of pet insurance in the UK – made the list that ranks UK-registered companies according to their four-year average annual growth rate with a minimum annual turnover of at least £10million.
Elaine Fairfax, managing director and founder, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that Animal Friends Insurance has made it to number 14 in the Investec Mid-Market 100 and our sustained growth been recognised by our inclusion in the official ranking for medium sized companies in the UK. “This award is another leading accolade for Animal Friends Insurance and all of its committed and hardworking employees who make the company the success it is today.”
The Investec Mid-Market 100 has been published and is available to view at investec.co.uk/midmarket.
Ed Cottrell of Investec said: “The UK mid-market contributes nearly £1 trillion of revenues annually and up to a quarter of private sector employment, and it is important that its contribution is understood and recognised.
“We know from our experience of working with mid-sized businesses that they are highly committed to investing for long-term growth and play a crucial role in the success of the UK’s broader economy.
“We look forward to seeing these companies go from strength to strength in the future and congratulate Animal Friends Insurance for achieving their place in this year’s Investec Mid-Market 100.”
