PUPILS from St Osmund’s Primary School in Salisbury have become the first to see the new-look PizzaExpress on Blue Boar Row, which has recently undergone a two-week transformation.
The Year 2 students took part in one of PizzaExpress’s free school visits, part of its Getting Kids Cooking initiative, where children learn about fresh ingredients, try new flavours and, have a go at stretching and topping a pizza.
Teacher Tania Henry said: “The children were encouraged by the team to try food that they didn’t normally eat, like olives and peppers. We were very impressed.”
The restaurant underwent a refurbishment earlier this month in time to be ready for the Christmas party season.
Ricardo Crespo, manager of PizzaExpress Salisbury, said: “PizzaExpress has been part of Salisbury town centre for 20 years and the whole team is so proud of the new look.”
