A FESTIVE day of fun at Savills in Salisbury rounded off a successful year of charity fundraising – bringing the total for the year to more than £7,700.

Staff at the estate agents have organised and taken part in a number of events throughout the year, including an Easter bake-off competition, London Nightrider, and the Great South Run.

As part of their latest fundraiser staff wore Christmas jumpers to work, enjoyed a buffet lunch in exchange for donations and took part in a raffle.

All funds raised throughout the year, which includes match-funding from Savills, have been donated to Teenage Cancer Trust, Children’s Chance and Alzheimer’s Society.

Sue Joy, the team manager in Property Solutions, said: “This would not have been possible without the continued support of friends, family and colleagues who have continually baked, contributed, joined in and donated throughout the year.

“We are extremely happy to have been able to support such great causes, and feel very proud that our donations will hopefully make a real difference to people who benefit from the help of these charities.”
