HOW cosmopolitan Fording-bridge is becoming – Dr Claudia Morley has opened a new skin clinic in the town.

Morley Aesthetics specialises in non-surgical rejuvenation of the face and is owned by Dr Morley – a practising doctor with more than 15 years of clinical experience.

And now Dr Morley has opened her new clinic at the Keystone Clinic on Salisbury Street.

Bad Botox is too obvious – the marble-smooth forehead, a startled expression, the inability to frown or a drooping brow. Despite all this, the popularity of the wrinkle-freezing substance shows no sign of waning.

But getting a subtle result takes a skilled practitioner.

Dr Morley trained in facial aesthetics in London and began practising alongside her GP work in 2008.

She completed her training in London with some of the country’s leading aesthetic practitioners and went on to set up her own clinic in 2010.

Dr Morley joined Salisbury’s Southern Independent Medical Practice in 2011.

She said: “It was never something I had imagined myself doing previously but the more I did the more I liked it.

“And, strangely, I was enjoying the work more than my GP work – mostly because I was making patients so happy from the work I was doing.

“There is nothing better than seeing someone light up when they look in the mirror at the end of their treatment or at follow-up and you know that you have just given them lots of self-esteem and confidence.”

The best practitioners say administering Botox is a combination of art and science and, as a prescribed medicine, is thoroughly tested and regulated.

“There is no need to end up with a frozen face,” said Dr Morley.

“What every client wants is to be told how well they look.

“I prefer to under-correct and see how their face looks after a fortnight.

“If the client would like more then I offer a free top-up after two weeks.”
