WESTOVER’s two Toyota showrooms, in Salisbury and Bournemouth, are aiming to raise more than £10,000 for Comic Relief with a range of activities.

The showroom team is organising a golf day at South Wilts Golf Club which will see 32 players come together for a round and a chance to win a number of prizes.

The day’s green fees of £42 include refreshments and a raffle ticket and golfers will also receive a voucher for a free vehicle health check at Westover Toyota as a thank you for their support.

Anyone is welcome to join in, whether a Westover Toyota regular or not, and all profits will go to the charity.

Other activities include a competition to guess the number of balloons in a Yaris Aygo and the chance to take on “The Wig” in a PS3 Grand Prix challenge.

There’s a car wash event every Friday and Saturday up to and including March 13 where customers can choose a car wash for £5 or a car wash and vehicle red nose for £10, and a member of the team is taking it in turns to bring in home-baked cakes on Fridays which are sold during the day.

Westover Toyota sales manager Gary Tranter said: “We’ve got lots of activities lined up suitable for all the family, so please pop in and help us raise some money for Comic Relief.

“We’d really appreciate the support.

“The showroom in Brunel Road, Salisbury, is the only place in the area that people can buy red noses for their cars.

“Priced at £5 each and with all the money going directly to Comic Relief, anyone can pop into the showroom on Churchfields and get their car kitted out for Red Nose Day.”
