WHO will follow in the footsteps of Colin Mundy? The businessman established his Cool outlet selling Marvel, vinyl and Star Wars treasures among many others after his successful bid to be Salisbury Chamber of Commerce’s first Can Do campaign winner.

His prize was a store in the Cross Keys centre free for three months, courtesy of owners Quantum. Now the chamber has been offered a new unit and the search for an innovative business to occupy it has begun. To enter email ed@anxagency.com

The Can-do campaign saw Cool picked by a panel of five judges. The store sells a variety of film, music and TV merchandise along with a selection of vinyl records.

Colin Mundy, who returned to the retail world seven years after he left Stand Out Records in Fisherton Street, said then: "I’m Salisbury born and bred and I don’t want to see the city look like Andover. It needs independent retailers and something a bit different.

"I want to sell things that are quirky– both retro and current – and I want people to tell me what they want.”

Customers can put their ideas to Mr Mundy in the store, email him at colin@cool-merch.com or find the shop on Facebook.
