SALISBURY companies are being urged to enter this year’s inaugural Solent Business Awards, with five titles up for grabs.

Built on the legacy of the Hampshire Business Awards, which have been won by a raft of top names over the last 25 years, the new event has been extended to include the whole of the Solent and South Central region.

The team behind the awards already run the Thames Valley Business Awards, now in its 21st year.

Event chairman David Murray said: “We are thrilled that we can now give businesses across Salisbury the opportunity to share their success stories and we look forward to building this event into the premier event of its kind in the region.

“We want to hear from the brightest and best organisations, those who set high standards and have the entrepreneurial vision, strong management teams, drive and innovation which sets them apart from their peers.”

The closing date for entries is July 31 and winners will be announced on October 22 at a gala awards dinner at the Hilton Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
