JAS Hair proved it was a cut above the rest when it won the Wiltshire College Apprentice Employer Award.
The judge was David Murley, Wiltshire College director of business development.
He said the firm had a “good apprenticeship model with an emphasis on quality and customer service”.
And he said the company gave apprentices “many opportunities for learning and progression”.
Accepting the award, Jayne Prigent said: “I think it’s all about our team.
“Really investing in their training is absolutely paramount to our business and the success that we have had.”
Finalists included Ashley Grange residential care and nursing home, Blencowe Scaffolding, Wessex Timber Windows and David Hart Aerospace.
