A WINTERSLOW shop has found fame after appearing in a national television advert.
Central Stores was chosen to feature in the latest tongue-in-cheek advert for the National Lottery Camelot, which is part of its #pleasenotthem campaign.
Staff welcomed interior designer and television personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, who starred in the advert.
Bella Thomas, who runs the store with her husband Mike, said: “He was lovely, made lots of jokes, was really friendly and was happy to have his photo taken with lots of staff and customers.”
This is not the first time the shop has hit the nation’s TV screens and has been on Escape to the Country and The One Show.
She added: “They must have had a list of about a thousand locations so to be picked out of that we felt very lucky. We felt very privileged to be chosen. It was just good fun. It will be something the staff will forget.”
