A BUS company investing £370,000 in three new buses has chosen lighter floor colours as part of a move to make them more dementia friendly.

The investment has been made by Tourist Coaches into three of its Salisbury buses.

Managing director Andrew Wickham said: “Many of those with dementia are uneasy about crossing darker floors - fearing them to be like ‘black holes’.

“We wanted to make our new buses more accessible for all.”
