A NEW national marketing campaign was launched by VisitWiltshire on Thursday (September 17).

The Made of England initiative features bustling market towns, timeless monuments, ancient landscape, country inns, contemporary luxury, accommodation and local food and drink.

It aims to attract 3,000 staying visitors and generate £700,000 in visitor spend.

Made of England is the latest initiative by VisitWiltshire as part of its Time for Wiltshire brand positioning, designed to promote the county as a Timeless destination for visitors.

Marketing manager Fiona Errington said: “We are delighted to have received support from a variety of partners for this campaign.

"It’s a great time for businesses to be promoting themselves, encouraging visitors to the county in the shoulder months when it’s full of autumnal colours and filling accommodation gaps prior to the Christmas rush!"
