WESTOVER Group Salisbury raised £440 for charity by taking on the Spartan Race, the world’s leading obstacle course.
The race, which took place at Windsor Great Park over the weekend, saw team members Emma Zielinski and Kylie Jessey from the Peugeot dealership tackle the tough 5km and sprint course with over 15 challenging obstacles.
Dealers who took part in the race were sponsored by colleagues and friends to help raise money for Peugeot’s charity of the year, BBC Children in Need.
Emma Zielinski, assistant service manager, said: “We really didn’t know what we had signed ourselves up for with the Spartan Race.
"It was definitely a challenge, but the hill climbing, crawling under barbed wire and jumping over fire was all worth it to raise money for such a good cause.
“BBC Children in Need makes a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK and I would like to thank everybody who sponsored me and the team.”
The Peugeot and BBC Children in Need partnership has spanned four years, with the car manufacturer raising £1 million for the charity to date.
