AN online lingerie retailer is set to showcase its products in a bid to fill superstore shelves and catalogue pages.

Viva Voluptuous, based on Churchfields Industrial Estate in Salisbury, will attend the INDX Intimate Apparel trade show to display its lingerie lines for plus-size women.

The company, established in 2016, will highlight eight different styles of lingerie and three new swimsuit designs which aim to not “scrimp on material” or change styles when its products surpass underband size 38 inches.

Director Liz Willis said: “With 55 percent of women in the UK currently being considered plus-size and the body positive revolution on the rise, it’s never been more important for these women to have access to supportive and sexy bras, panties and swimwear.

“Our products, which span up to dress size 26, have been enormously successful online and now we feel the time has come to reach out to even more women by moving them into stores and catalogues. The INDX trade show is the perfect platform to help us do this.”

The trade show, which is the only one of its kind in the UK for independent retailers, will take place next week at the Cranmore Park Exhibition Centre in Solihull.

Trade show organiser Amanda Partridge said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Viva Voluptuous to the AW18 show and we look forward to introducing this stunning plus-size brand to our buyers.

“The range is extremely commercial and represents a huge step forward for the body positivity movement.”

Viva Voluptuous was set up to exclusively design, manufacture and sell garments for women who are size 16 or above. Since its launch it has begun shipping across the UK, Europe and the US.
