A LUXURY fragrance shop has filled a space in Bradbeers, one week after the department store opened in Salisbury.

Jo Malone London marked its first Wiltshire store opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, November 3.

Selling colognes, scented candles and bathing products, the store has a new shopfront inside Bradbeers on Blue Boar Row.

The addition comes just one week after the department store opened.

Salisbury's MP John Glen joined Jo Malone's staff and managers of Bradbeers for the official opening. He said: "It gives me enormous pleasure to come back a week after the official opening of the store to open Jo Malone London Salisbury.

"Congratulations. I wish you well in the run-up to Christmas and beyond."

Bradbeers director Greg Davies said: "We're delighted that Jo Malone has opened with us in Salisbury. It's the first time we've struck up a relationship with them.

"We're walking in the footsteps of giants. It has been a big team effort from the family and staff."

Mr Davies said he's keen to hear what shops Salisbury residents would like to see open in Bradbeers.

A number of other stores are planning to open in the near future at Bradbeers including Chanel.
