A QUALIFIED physiotherapist is urging people to take the time to improve their lives and boost their wellbeing.

Helen Adams, who runs Orchid Rehabilitation, has more than 25 years of experience, both within the NHS and in the private sector.

She set up her business, based in Salisbury, to provide a holistic rehabilitation approach through neurological physiotherapy. She offers home appointments across Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset.

She said: "I set up Orchid Rehabilitation to help my clients improve their lives, especially those living with the challenges following a stroke or other neurological condition, as well as complex pain, injury or fatigue. I offer appointments in the comfort of your own home. Treating you in your own environment allows you to relearn life skills that are relevant to you."

Helen uses a variety of treatments tailored to suit people's needs. As well as treating the injury/disease, she includes aspects of people's lives in their rehabilitation programmes to create the most effective way forward.

Helen has found a way to overcome her own life-limiting challenges to achieve a balance that has enabled her to return to a high level of activity. She said she would love to share her experiences of helping others through similar circumstances.

Helen is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Neurology (ACPIN).
