A spokesperson for Wiltshire Council said in a letter shared with the Journal: "This is likely to cause some disruption which we will look to minimise as best we can, and there will be a reduced number of spaces available during these works.

"There may also be alterations to traffic flow in the car park, but this will be managed as best as possible, with any signage provided if required.

"Please note that throughout the duration of the works, temporary disabled parking bays will be provided.

"We anticipate that these works will take approximately six weeks to complete. Please consider planning your trip accordingly to ensure you arrive for your activity in good time."
