A Post Office has announced its intention to open inside a convenience shop at a housing estate in Salisbury.
It will open seven days a week from 7am until 10pm inside SPAR Late Shop, at 4 Rhodes Moorhouse Way, Longhedge.
The new branch is going to offer all the services customers would expect, from posting letters and parcels to collecting and returning online shopping items.
Customers can also use its banking services including cash withdrawals (including foreign currency) and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks.
The service will be a "local style branch" with a low-screened, open-plan Post Office service point integrated into the retail counter.
Antoinette Chitty, Post Office network provision lead, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.
"We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office will ensure that people in this area of Salisbury have easy access to our services.”
The new Post Office will open for the first time at 1pm on Friday, April 26.
