AMBASSADORS, the Salisbury business networking club, and the Salisbury Breakfast Club, run by Salisbury solicitors Bonallack & Bishop are getting together for breakfast tomorrow at the Grasmere House Hotel in Harnham.

The meeting is at 7.30am for 7.45am.

Tim Bishop, senior partner of Bonallack & Bishop, said the two groups held joint meetings twice a year.

“It’s proof that business can be about co-operation, not competition,” he said.

“It’s good for Ambassadors’ members to meet ours, and the joint meetings have been very well received. August is a quiet time for business and this is a good way of getting new people along.”

Suzanne Foster, chairman of Ambassadors and a family lawyer at Salisbury solicitors Trethowans, echoed his comments.

“This meeting is an opportunity for supporters of both groups to widen their network and for local businesses to meet, develop new links and pass on referrals to each other,” she said.

“In these challenging economic times, the role networking organisations perform becomes even more important as a means for local businesses to generate contacts and business opportunities.”
