Routes to Success is the theme of this year’s South Wilts Business Expo 2012, which is being hosted by Salisbury Newspapers and Spire FM.

The Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce event, on October 2, will aim to explore the strategies businesses can adopt to ensure they achieve their full potential.

The Business to Business show is in its tenth year and it has grown to be the premier advice and networking event in the south Wiltshire region.

Visitors will see a difference this year with a new layout and a host of new and inspiring ideas. Businesses already signed up for the event represent a wide variety of local firms ranging from manufacturing to legal services, and hospitality to kitchen installation.

Bill Browne, editor and publisher of Salisbury Newspapers, said: “Salisbury and south Wiltshire is playing its part in growing businesses despite all that we hear about the economy. It is a region rich in small to medium enterprises which are owned by people who are prepared to roll up their sleeves and give it a go.

“Our aim is to make the South Wilts Business Expo the shop window of all that is on offer and to complement it with some of the best help and advice available.”

Once again, media service company Radiquip, will be adding their support to the event – as well as hosting the show’s website, southwiltsexpo.co.uk.

Ceri Hurford Jones, managing director of Spire FM, said: “It is fantastic to be working with the Journal and together we have already half-filled the venue in advance bookings.”

Running alongside Expo will be a Meet the Buyer event, organised by Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber president Paul Burrough said: “Expo 2012 is, together with the business awards, the Chamber’s biggest showcase of the year.

“I know I speak on behalf of my fellow directors when I say we are very much looking forward to the event and working in association with Spire FM and the Salisbury Journal.

“I would urge anyone with a business to make sure they book to get the best stand. And all others should make sure they put the date in the diary.”
