A BUSINESSMAN has built a motorcycle for charity as a way of returning something to the community.

Vince Prevett, 46, owner of VP Motorcycles in Old Sarum, spent five months putting together a Naked Streetfighter made from a GSXR1000 K5, which he is selling to raise funds for Lucy’s Days Out.

He was inspired to give something back to the community to say thank you for a life-saving operation he received when he was seven years old.

He said: “After fighting for my life at such a young age, I really wanted to give something back to those who helped me.

“I’ve never been in a position before to give anything back, so building and selling on motorcycles is something I’m doing to say thank you.

“I’m hoping to build more in the near future and the next one I make any money on, I’ll be giving to Great Ormond Street Hospital as it’s very close to my heart.”
