Finding your route to success with Expo event

BUSINESSES are gearing up for this year’s Expo event, which is being hosted by Salisbury Newspapers and Spire FM next month.

The theme for the Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce event will be Routes to Success, and it will aim to explore the strategies businesses can adopt to ensure they achieve their full potential.

The Business to Business show is in its tenth year and this year will offer a new layout and a host of new and inspiring ideas.

A wide range of local firms representing areas from manufacturing to hospitality are already signed up for the event and media service company Radiquip are adding their support, and hosting the show’s new website at soutwiltsexpo.co.uk.

Salisbury Newspapers editor and publisher Bill Browne said: “Salisbury and south Wiltshire are playing their part in growing businesses despite all that we hear about the economy. It is a region rich in small to medium enterprises which are owned by people who are prepared to roll up their sleeves and give it a go.

“Our aim is to make the South Wilts Business Expo the shop window of all that is on offer and to complement it with some of the best help and advice available.”

Running alongside Expo will be a Meet the Buyer event, organised by Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber president Paul Burrough said: “Expo 2012 is, together with the business awards, the Chamber’s biggest showcase of the year.

“I know I speak on behalf of my fellow directors when I say we are very much looking forward to the event and working in association with Spire FM and the Salisbury Journal.

“I would urge anyone with a business to make sure they book to get the best stand. And all others should make sure they put the date in the diary.”

Expo will be held at the City Hall on October 2.
